On 11 May 2013, a team from Protectahome will be taking part in a five mile walk across the Severn Bridge to raise money for St David’s Hospice Care. Of course this is not just any fundraising walk; all participants have to be dressed in onesies!
Always keen to go that extra mile, we have decided to go with a farm animal theme. On 11 May our team, fittingly named the ‘Farmyard Funnies’, can be seen crossing the bridge dressed head to toe in farm animal themed onesies. We hope that our embarrassing attire will help to further encourage people to donate to our worthy cause.
In previous years, Protectahome have raised money for various charities including the RSPCA, Breast Cancer Awareness, PDSA, Dogs Trust, One25 and Cancer Research. This year we are supporting St David’s Hospice Care by undertaking the Severn Bridge Onesie Walk. This charity is one that’s very close to all of our hearts. St David’s Hospice Care offers palliative care for up to 3,200 patients and families every year at a cost of £5.8 million. It’s a truly wonderful charity and one that we are very proud to support.
Please help the Protectahome Farmyard Funnies raise as much money as we can towards this worthwhile cause. Visit our just giving page at:
