Quick update from one of our latest waterproofing projects. We are in the process of installing a combined Type A and Type C System of Waterproofing to the basement level of this new build domestic property in Wolverhampton.
Some recent work from our specialist Waterproofing Division. This project in Bristol involved excavating a basement extension underneath the existing footprint of the domestic property. The new basement is to be used as added living accommodation for the owners of the property.
Some of the latest work from our Waterproofing Division. This new build project near Abergavenny in South East Wales included a semi-basement level that required waterproofing to protect it against water ingress from the ground.
At Protectahome, we are committed to staff development and ensuring that we maintain the highest levels of service to all our customers.This Autumn has been a busy period for our training department with staff from several departments attending relevant training courses across our fields of operation.
Over the last month we have been very fortunate to celebrate not 1, but 2 significant staff milestones. These came in the form of 20 and 30, yes 30! year anniversaries of employment for 2 of our technicians.
Over recent times, Protectahome has been involved in a number of remedial waterproofing projects that have involved failed Type C Cavity Drain Membrane Systems installed by others.During our investigations and subsequent remedial works, the issue of Free Lime in Type C Systems has become overtly apparent as a major cause of waterproofing failure. As such, we have decided to publish some of our findings and recommendations in light of these recent projects.
