Protectahome Sponsored Guide Dog in Training.

As part of our charity efforts this year, the team at Protectahome began to sponsor a Guide Dog in Training, Isaac, back in March. Isaac is now a 4 month old Golden Retriever cross Labrador  who will, when he’s old enough, become a fully-fledged Guide Dog for someone with impaired or no vision.

Isaac’s training will take around 22 months before he is ready to make a huge difference to someone’s life. Once fully trained, Isaac will offer an essential and life changing service as well as vital companionship to his partner. Over his training time, Protectahome will be contributing each month with the funds coming from weekly dress down days at our head office where the team pay £1 each week toward our nominated charities.

As part of the sponsorship, we receive regular ‘Pupdates’ on Isaac’s progress. Our first ‘pupdate’ has revealed that Isaac is with his ‘Puppy Walker’ who handles his initial training, by all accounts it’s going very well.
