Welsh rugby legend meets the team at Protectahome.

A pleasant surprise for the team at our Head Office in Newport this morning as Welsh rugby legend Gareth Edwards CBE met the staff and kindly posed for a photograph.

Edwards won 63 International Caps, including 10 for the British and Irish Lions, and played for arguably the greatest Welsh side of all time in the late 60’s and 70’s. In addition to being regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Edwards is also credited with scoring what is widely regarded as the greatest try of all time when playing for the Barbarians against the All Blacks in 1973.
